Aug 02, 2009· Although they weren't sold out of cereal boxes or cut out of magazines, I do have something to add here that were fairly popular in the late 60's. Philco, a division of the Ford Motor Company, sold 4 inch "flexi" records in light colored customized envelopes called "Hip-Pocket" records. They were in existence from late 1966 to early 1968.
